TIVAR®
From
food processing to packaging, bulk material handling to pharmaceutical
processing...TIVAR can improve your business performance. If your process
machinery has problems with noise, premature wear, stretched chains, unscheduled
downtime or expensive replacements, TIVAR solves those problems and your
machinery runs longer and smoother.
TIVAR
formulations are recognized worldwide for their wear and corrosion resistance,
low friction surface and impact strength. TIVAR can outperform stainless
steel, yet it weighs only 1/8 as much. It can also handle wide temperature
ranges making it ideal for use on freezing lines or on lines with intermittent
temperatures up to 212oF (100oC). From intricate wear components to large-scale
installations, a TIVAR product can fit the application.
TIVAR
Product Family
- TIVAR®
H.O.T.
Formulated
to maintain key performance properties in an extended temperature range,
Tivar H.O.T. will excel in a variety of industrial manufacturing environments
where temperatures range up to 275°F (nearly 100°F higher than competing
UHMW-PE formulations). more info
- TIVAR
1000
is an excellent general purpose wear material that meets FDA, USDA,
& 3-A Dairy guidelines for pharmaceutical processing and food contact
applications.
- TIVAR
Recycled Marble & Uniblend
maintains an acceptable combination of properties for less demanding,
non-FDA applications.
- TIVAR
AntiStatic protects parts sensitive to build-up of static electricity.
Surface resistivity ranges from 105 to 109 (ohms/cm2).
- TIVAR
88 is a premium lining material for bulk material handling. It is
noted for its high performance in promoting bulk solids flow of cohesive
or non-free flowing materials.
- TIVAR
UV Resistant is modified for enhanced stability in outdoor applications
and is available in safety colors.
- TIVAR
Cleanstat
is a static-reduced product that meets FDA & USDA guidelines for food
handling and phamaceutical processing. Tivar Cleanstat is weldable and
will eliminate static build-up problems while exhibiting a longer-wearing,
lower-coefficient of friction sliding surface than stainless steel.
- TIVAR
Oil Filled is an enhanced dynamic coefficient of friction formula,
exuding an oil additive to lubricate mating surfaces. This is commonly
used for applications requiring higher pressure velocity values. TIVAR
Oil Filled meets FDA & USDA guidelines for food contact applications.
TIVAR PolySteel is compounded to achieve specific gravity >1 (won't
float); activates metal detectors.

- TIVAR
DrySlide is modified with special dry additives for enhanced coefficient
of friction and antistatic properties. DrySlide is effective in dusty
environments where components need extra lubrication and anti-static
properties.
- TIVAR
CERAM P is a shatter resistant alternative to ceramics. Ceram P
is noted for dimensional stability. Ceram P is a proven performer in
high speed, high load operations.
- TIVAR
Rubber Backed combines rubber and Tivar 100 that can be cemented
in place.
