TIVAR® 88
Uniquely
formulated UHMW (blue in color), TIVAR 88 engineering polymer has a very
low coefficient of friction, excellent abrasion resistance. Lightweight
(1/8 the weight of steel), it is easily machined and installed. Available
in an anti-static formulation. TIVAR 88-2 is a weldable version of TIVAR
88. Also available in anti-static formulation. Can be used to make one-piece
"drop-in" liners for chutes and hoppers.

The System Tivar Solution - TIVAR 88 Performance Linings
TIVAR 88's low surface friction promotes flow of cohesive, non-free-flowing bulk materials. Its unique surface permits shallower hopper wall angles in new construction design. TIVAR 88 improves performance of existing structures with linings on interior surfaces of chutes, hoppers and process equipment. Linings are mechanically fastened to substrates of steel, stainless steel, concrete, gunite and wood.
