Cold rolled steel sheet is produced from hot rolled pickle and oiled coils which are cold reduced and annealed to obtain improved properties and tolerances. Alro stocks CR sheets in CS Type B Class 2 in accordance to ASTM A366.

Class 2 is intended to be used where surface appearance is not of primary importance. CR sheets are carried in pattern widths of 36 to 48 wide cut to length.

Very desirable nickel or chrome plating results can be secured using CR sheets, which also provide an excellent base for baked enamel and lacquer finishes.
