Continuous Cast Iron Bars
65-45-12 / Ductile IronIron
|
Description |
Alro is a stocking distributor for Wells Manufacturing, the producers of the premier cast iron bars under the trade name of Dura-Bar. Cast irons are usually alloys that contain more than 2% carbon and from 1% to 3% silicon. Cast iron is offered in gray and ductile types. The primary difference in these types is the shape and distribution in their microstructure.
Dura-Bar offers a zero defect guarantee plus the inherent benefits of cast iron such as:
| |
- Improved Machinability
- Lower Tool Cost
- Decreased Downtime For Tooling Changes
- Reduced Scrap By Using Defect-Free Material
