Galvanized sheet is carbon steel with an even coat of zinc spangle which will not flake or peel when formed. Coating weight is designated by how much zinc is applied to the sheet using a hot dipped process.

Alro stocks galvanized sheet in CS Type B G-90 Chem Treat Dry in accordance to ASTM A653 in pattern widths of 36, 48, and 60 cut to length.

Alro also stocks galvannealed sheets where the zinc coating is heated after dipping to form a zinc/iron alloy. Galvannealed performs similarly to galvanized, but with improved weldability and paintability.
