The popular Gray Die / Fixture board, Lab 1151, is a machinable slab with an aluminum filler. Lab 1151 is a 51 – 52 lb. density sheet/slab.
It’s a tough, high impact board used for CMM checking, assembly and nesting fixture applications and low-volume vacuum-form tools. The aluminum filler
helps to improve the physical properties, dimensional stability and surface finish of the boards.
