Nylatron® MD is a metal detectable grade of nylon offering improved strength and rigidity. With a lower coefficient of linear thermal expansion
than Nylon 101, Nylatron MD parts maintain better fit and clearances, and have less tendency to seize as bearings.
Features:
- High wear and fatigue resistance
- Lower moisture absorption than standard Nylon Type 6
- Metal and visual detection by blue color
- Detection by X-ray also possible
- Continuous use temperature up to 85°C (185°F)
