3003 Aluminum Plate, Sheet Features and Benefits
Aluminum 3003 is easily welded and brazed, but soldering is limited to the torch method. It has all the excellent characteristics of 1100 with higher strength. It has excellent corrosion resistance and workability and may be deep drawn or spun, welded, or brazed. Additional features include:

- Can be cold worked
It should be noted that aluminum alloy 3003 tends to be gummy when machined, but it will perform somewhat satisfactorily in the higher tempers with the proper set-up and maximum speeds.
