HYDLAR® ZF

Hydlar ZF is now FDA compliant for direct food contact applications. Hydlar ZF is a blend of DuPont ZytelŪ Nylon filled with KevlarŪ aramid fibers. The Kevlar filler enhances the physical properties but is not abrasive like glass fillers. Kevlar significantly increases wear resistance. The Kevlar filler also elevates the tensile strength, flexural strength, impact and heat properties. Ideal for structural and wear-resistant applications (aerospace, automotive and industrial). New Hydlar ZF Nylon/Kevlar thermoplastic composites outperform metals, glass or other reinforced plastics.
