Alro Plastics is a stocking distributor of Polyurethane Tooling Board. These boards are heavily used in the automotive industry as well as other industries where prototyping and modeling work is required. The boards are lightweight, can be glued together for larger size models and mock up easily. In order to better service our customers, we have broken them down into three categories. Polyurethane Board (Light Density) Light Density, also referred to as Modeling or Styling board, Polyurethane foam board is available in various densities from 4 to 30 lbs. Polyurethane foam produces patterns that are considerably lighter, and easier to mock-up, than other products. Lab 1151 Gray Die / Fixture Board The popular Gray Die / Fixture board, Lab 1151, is a machinable slab with an aluminum filler. It’s a tough, high impact board used for CMM checking, assembly and nesting fixture applications and low-volume vacuum-form tools.
