Duratron® D7000 PI has overall good mechanical performance for applications requiring extreme temperature resistance. It is an exceptional value for applications that do not require the extraordinary thermal resistance of Duratron® PBI or applications where the requirements mean Duratron® PAI cannot be used.
Duratron® PI is available in several grades (See Duratron® PAI and Duratron® PBI) for structural and wear applications. It is also stocked in the broadest range of shapes including thick sheets, larger sheet geometries and heavy-wall tubes. These machinable shapes are ideal starting points for light-weighting designs. D7000 may also extend length of service before maintenance or replacement is required which aids in reducing overall cost through increased process uptime.
