Our FlexArm equipment allows Alro Plastics to offer in house capability of part tapping and Helicoil inserts. The FlexArm keeps the Helicoil
insertion tool perpendicular to the work piece. The depth control ability offers consistency from part to part whether tapping or inserting
helicoils.
A FlexArm Tapping Machine will take care of prep work such as reaming, chamfering and deburring. Eliminate setup time in the mill and reduce
material handling. Save time and money by easily articulating a FlexArm tapping arm directly over the work piece.
Helicoil Size Offerings:
- Standard: 8-32, 10-24, ¼-20, 3/8-20, ½-13
- Metric: M3-0.5, M4-0.7, M5-0.8, M6 x 1.0, M8 x 1.25, M10 x 1.5
