Alro and Its Employees Contribute $26,000 to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund

Jackson, MI--Alro Steel Corporation and its employees have donated $26,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to assist in the aid efforts for the victims of the terrorist events of September 11, 2001.

Alro employees contributed $13,000 which was matched by the company and delivered to the local Red Cross chapter this week.

"We are pleased that so many members of the Alro team have stepped forward to contribute toward the recovery efforts for this terrible tragedy," said Al Glick, Alro Chairman and CEO. "It is a clear demonstration of our commitment to aid our nation in recovery and healing."
