Plaskolite produces consistent, high-quality polycarbonate sheet
under
the TUFFAK® polycarbonate sheet trade name. Forming and fabrication characteristics
and techniques are comparable to those of other commercial polycarbonate sheet products.
TUFFAK® sheet is 300-times stronger than single-strength glass, and significantly
tougher than other transparent sheet materials of equal thickness. It’s unlikely
that
TUFFAK® sheet will break, shatter or chip when bombarded with thrown missiles
such as
rocks, bricks or bottles. Nor is it likely that this material will break when hammered,
twisted or bent.
TUFFAK® polycarbonate sheets are offered in a variety of grades specifically designed

GP
is the general purpose polycarbonate sheet produced by Plaskolite. This clear sheet comes
standard with film masking but can also be supplied in paper masking if needed.

GP polycarbonate sheet is virtually unbreakable and significantly tougher than other
transparent materials of equal thickness.

FD
polycarbonate sheet complies with FDA requirements for food contact. This non-UV
stable
sheet offers excellent optical clarity, good heat resistance, and high impact strength.

TUFFAK® GP-V polycarbonate sheet is a polished surface, UV stabilized, transparent polycarbonate product. GP-V is a flame-retardant grade with a UL 94 V-2 rating at 0.060˝ and greater, then improves to V-0 rating at 0.220˝ and greater. Other properties include outstanding impact strength, superior dimensional stability, high temperature resistance, and high clarity. This lightweight thermoformable sheet is also easy to fabricate and decorate.
