Polystone® P Rochling Grey Polypropylene is designed to last up to 10 times longer than standard grades of polypropylene. Polystone® P is enhanced with special heat stabilizers to extend the life of the material and is primarily used as tanks and linings for the chemical and semiconductor industries. Together with its inherent corrosion resistant properties, this product can last for more then 50 years, as compared to standard grades of natural polypropylene that have a lifetime of only 5 to 10 years in the same application.

A simple test can be performed to compare the heat and corrosion resistance by determining the point at which corrosion starts. Polystone® P Rochling Grey is NOT damaged after more then 2,800 hours at 300oF, when standard grades of natural polypropylene become powder after 500 hours.

Even at normal operating temperatures, Polystone® P is highly recommended. The small difference in cost, as compared to the lower-quality products, is more then compensated by the huge increase in the life of the product.
