A1011 CS Type B Commercial Quality Steel Sheet
Alro stocks A1011/1018 CS Type B hot rolled sheet. A1011 CS Type B is a hot rolled commercial quality sheet (CS) carbon steel that is suitable for applications where normal surface imperfections are not objectionable.
A1011 CS undergoes heat treatment and other processing operations. These operations must be properly performed to ensure no detrimental affects occur to the properties of the steel sheet. Commercial quality (More commonly referred to as "Commercial Steel or CS") will meet the bend test requirements of ASTM A1011/1018 CS Type B.

Properties
A1011/1018 *CS TYPE B* is typically bought to meet chemistry requirements rather than physical requirements. For that reason, physical properties are generally not provided unless requested prior to production. Any material can be sent to a third party after production to be tested for physical properties.
