Saturday, June 27, 2026, was the 7th Annual Al Glick Youth Football Camp, held at Jackson High School's Withington Stadium on Dungy Field and in the Al Glick Athletic Center. The event brings together kids from Jackson County from public, private, and home schools. Henry Ford provided athletic trainers, and campers learned skills from local coaches, past and present University of Michigan players, and long-time partner, Legacy Center, who shared technical skills through drills and challenges. The day culminated in a skills challenge with fastest kid and longest pass competitions, as well as a touch football game to practice their new skills.

The annual camp realizes a long-held dream of Alro Steel founder Al Glick, blending his passion for sports with a mission to instill teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical fitness in local youth. Long-time supporters of the football camp are JTV, Jackson Public Schools (JPS), JPS Food Service, Henry Ford Health Jackson, and RJ's Burgers & Ice Cream Co.
